HRSA’s Division of Transplantation administers the OPTN through a contract with UNOS, whose website can be found at www.transplantliving.org. You can request a packet of information about kidney transplantation by calling UNOS at 1–888–894–6361 (1–888–TX–INFO–1).

Nongovernment Organizations

Many national organizations—including Government agencies, private foundations, and commercial industries—have joined the Coalition on Donation to promote organ and tissue donation through educational programs and campaigns conducted nationally and at the local level.
