Education

Teaching and continuing education also are an integral part of the Division of Nephrology. In addition to regular responsibilities for the training of medical students, residents, and fellows, an annual Pediatric Nephrology Seminar is sponsored by the Division. This Seminar is an international forum for general pediatricians and specialists involved with kidney diseases (nephrologists, urologists, pharmacologists, surgeons, immunologists, hematologists) and allied health professionals. A series of books based on these seminars, Current Concepts in Pediatric Nephrology, have been published, as well as numerous papers in journals and other medical literature.
