Sponsorship Opportunities: Honoring the Artist Fund

For ten years the ArtAbilities Program of the Mailman Center of Child Development has helped children with disabilities realize their artistic talent and experience the triumph and adulation that comes from creating works of art which speak to their spirit.  The project truly has been instrumental in opening up opportunities for “our young artists” and has become a very successful program within the Mailman Center. As a non profit organization we depend upon the generosity of supporters to help us meet the costs of sustaining the ArtAbilities Program.  A philanthropic gift given in honor of one or more of our student artists is a wonderful way to support the program.

The funds will be used to sustain the program and to cover expenses related to the traveling exhibition, the Mailman Center’s permanent collection, funds for students to attend summer art camps and for special research and training programs.  We are pleased to offer the following sponsorship opportunities:


Silver Honor
$500

Bonuses include:

  • Recognition in the Mailman Center’s Annual Report, which is sent to over 13,000 community and state leaders;
  • Name recognition in the Mailman Center’s website and in all press releases generated by the Training Division;
  • Special plaque in honor of the contribution that travels with the artwork on tour (2-3 tours each year).


Gold Honor
$1,000

Bonuses include:

  • Recognition in the Mailman Center’s Annual Report, which is sent to over 13,000 community and state leaders;
  • Name recognition in the Mailman Center’s website and in all press releases generated by the Training Division;
  • Four boxes of note cards imprinted with reproductions of the student’s artwork;
  • Five free tote bags imprinted with reproductions of the student’s artwork;
  • Five cotton T-Shirts imprinted with reproductions of the student’s art work and the corporation’s logo;
  • Special plaque in honor of the contribution that travels with the art work on tour (2-3 tours each year).


Platinum Honor
$1,500

Bonuses include:

  • Recognition in the Mailman Center’s Annual Report, which is sent to over 13,000 community and state leaders;
  • Name recognition in the Mailman Center’s website and in all press releases generated by the Training Division;
  • Eight boxes of note cards imprinted with reproductions of the student’s artwork;
  • Ten free tote bags imprinted with reproductions of the student’s artwork;
  • Ten cotton T-shirts imprinted with reproductions of the student’s art work and the corporation’s logo;
  • Recognition of sponsorship at Coral Gables’ Gallery Night;
  • Opportunity to hold an ArtAbilities exhibition at your business;
  • Special plaque in honor of the contribution that travels with the artwork on tour (2-3 tours each year).

There is also opportunity to underwrite an entire collection. Additionally, special Licensing opportunities for the use of children’s art work for art cards are available for corporations and firms.
