Physicians and scientists in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology at the University of Miami School of Medicine are involved in a broad range of clinical and basic science research activities and have become internationally recognized for their contributions to the specialty, particularly in the areas of HIV nephropathy, end-stage renal disease, kidney transplantation in children, growth failure in kidney disease and steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome.
