Transporting your Child to the NICU at Holtz

Our NICU not only cares for infants born at Holtz, but also accepts transfers and referrals from other hospitals in Florida, and from other areas of North, Central and South America and the Caribbean via fixed wing transport. The transport vehicles are equipped with a state-of-the-art critical care transport unit with crew and equipment capable of providing continuity of care en route for critically ill neonates.

Since the time factor is such a crucial aspect in the care of ill neonates, the Neonatal Transport Team is on call 24 hours a day. A neonatal transport may be arranged at any time by calling the Project: New Born Neonatal Special Care Center’s ICU at 305-585-5140 or by calling:
