Professional Development and Continuing Education Opportunities
The Mailman Center for Child Development addresses concerns of individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities and children with special health care needs through research, clinical service and advocacy. Additionally, the Center is committed to improving the knowledge and skills of community professionals and paraprofessionals and providing them with the tools to work collaboratively with individuals with disabilities and their families. In meeting these objectives the Center offers several continuing education opportunities to community professionals and paraprofessionals. The lectures and workshops enable them to keep abreast of innovations in their discipline and/or acquire the continuing education units necessary to maintain certification.
