Behavioral Pediatrics Clinic

The Behavioral Pediatrics Clinic at UHealth Pediatrics provides behavioral evaluations and outpatient therapy services for children and adolescents in a confidential, family centered environment. The most common issues seen in our clinic include, but are not limited to:

  • ADHD
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Autism
  • Behavioral disorders including temper tantrums & oppositional/defiant behavior
  • Family conflict
  • Mood disorders
  • Parent-child relational problems
  • Pill swallowing difficulties
  • Sleep disorders
  • Toileting issues
  • Trauma

Upon evaluation and diagnosis, care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including a clinical coordinator, a board-certified Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician, and a team of advanced clinical graduate students, supervised by licensed Clinical Pediatric Psychologists. The team is dedicated to the use of the most current and evidenced-based therapies including:

  • Behavioral parent training
  • Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety and depression
  • Social problem solving skills training
  • Family therapy
  • Trauma-focused therapy
  • Parent-toddler therapy
