Therapy Services

Occupational Therapy
Certified occupational therapists provide services to our children in individual and small groups. Our occupational therapists work as part of the multidisciplinary team while focusing on a child’s ability to participate in play and daily life activities. Through developmentally appropriate activities, individualized interventions are targeted to assist in developing strength and coordination, fine motor skills, feeding, and self help abilities. Occupational therapists design interventions and consult with the classroom staff to promote healthy development, establish needed skills and/or modify environments all in support of optimal participation in the classroom and home environments, which may be limited by developmental delay or disability.

Physical Therapy
Certified physical therapists provide services to our children in individual and small groups. Our physical therapists work as part of the multidisciplinary team to help ensure that your child’s physical performance in every day activities is at its best. Through developmentally appropriate activities, a physical therapist will help your child achieve age-appropriate developmental milestones, better participate in age-appropriate gross motor or school activities with peers and improve your child’s ability to independently negotiate his or her environment in the classroom and home.

Speech Therapy
Certified speech-language pathologists provide speech and language therapy services to our children in individual and small groups. Our speech therapists work as part of the multidisciplinary team to insure generalization of skills. A speech-language pathologist will help your child achieve age-appropriate skills related to the understanding and production of language, the production of speech sounds, and the acquisition of feeding skills. Collaborative therapy is provided in the classrooms with the teachers on a regular basis.
